They were almost dead as they climbed the last mountain. They had nothing left, they had gone through their last provisions days ago, their clothes were tattered to rags, but they were almost there. Their bodies were also broken and aching, they just wanted to die. When they reached the top they saw more mountains, spanning out indefinitely. They would never make it, they accepted this and decided to die. But on that thought the picture of the mountains opened like a curtain onto the end of material constraints . They let their souls out of their shells to travel the unknown.
